For over 20 years, Denver Preschool Program (DPP) has helped Denver families access quality preschool while investing in the providers and educators who make early learning possible. As a program of First Step Collective, DPP continues that work while contributing its experience, relationships and infrastructure to a broader vision for early childhood in Denver.
COLORADO UNIVERSAL PRESCHOOL
Connecting Denver Families to UPK
Colorado’s Universal Preschool (UPK) program helps eligible children access 15 hours of free preschool. Through our partnership with Denver’s Early Childhood Council, we help families and providers navigate the program and connect with preschool opportunities in Denver.
MY FRIEND BEN
Helping Families Find the Support They Need
Preschool and childcare are just two parts of a family’s needs. MyFriendBen helps families discover resources for food, housing, health, finances and more. MyFriendBen is integrated into the Denver Preschool Program application for families applying for preschool tuition credits. All Denver families can access the tool to find support resources.
